Do I need an account to use NoBuy?

No. NoBuy works with no sign-up and no login. Your challenges and progress are stored on your device.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your challenge data stays on your device — we can't see it, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What's the difference between No-Buy and Low-Buy?

No-Buy sets your chosen categories to a $0 limit (strict) and gives you 2 freezes per 30 days. Low-Buy lets you set custom spending limits (flexible) and gives you 4 freezes per 30 days.

What is a freeze, and what happens if I slip?

A freeze protects your streak on a bad day. If you slip, NoBuy uses a freeze ❄️ instead of resetting your streak to zero. When you run out of freezes, your streak gently resets. You can buy extra freezes as a Freeze Pack.

How is "money saved" calculated?

It's an estimate based on the typical spending you enter for the categories you're cutting. It's meant to motivate you, not to be exact accounting.

What do I get with NoBuy Premium?

Unlimited challenges and envelopes, custom durations, premium hero styles, Journey cosmetics, premium share-card themes, extra freezes, and full history. It's $4.99/month or $29.99/year with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the app store. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NoBuy → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NoBuy → Cancel.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request a refund through the Google Play Store.

I got a new phone — is my progress transferred?

Because data is stored on-device, progress transfers only if you restore from a device backup (iCloud or Google backup). Cross-device sync is on our roadmap.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open NoBuy, go to Settings, and tap "Restore purchases." Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought with.
